Our Leadership
Scott Carter, originally from Gainesville, Georgia, has been married to his college sweetheart Joni for 22 years and they have 3 boys and 1 girl. Scott earned his undergraduate degree from Covenant College and attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. He has served churches in Mississippi, South Carolina, Virginia, and now North Carolina.
Lee spent much of his youth in
Jackson county, but has lived in Alabama for the past 15 years. He and his wife
Candice have been married for 7 years and have 3 children and a cat. He and
Candice love the outdoors, college sports, and changing diapers. Lee has worked
in ministry to students for the past 10 years and is excited to be back in Sylva
to work with the local church.
Facilities & Grounds-Ronnie Treadway
Ronnie has been serving Webster Baptist as for over a year as the Facilities & Grounds Coordinator. He is married to his wonderful wife Amber and they have one daughter named Chelsea who is a junior at Swain County High School and a State Champion track and field athlete. Ronnie is an avid Florida State fan where he was an All-American Track and Field athlete. Ronnie has served as a deacon in the past and he, Amber, and Chelsea are very active in the life of the church.
